Marine Futin

June 29 - July 3

Feelings are the essence of my work. I am inspired by how seemingly contradictory emotions can coexist inside of us. They shape our relationship to ourselves, others, and the world at large. With Jeu de soi (Game of Self), I built pastel artworks and sculptures to help us contemplate those tensions.

You’ll discover large swaths of vivid colors living in unexpected harmony, together and separately. Warm shades of purple, orange, and yellow play with cooler blues. Feminine shapes, structural lines, and physical blocks living in unison, reflect our multi faceted selves.

I am delighted to present this collection in the perfect space: a blank canvas of a playground, a white box with a full wall of windows to invite the city in. Come play with me over a glass of wine!
